Grove Worldwide designs, manufactures, and markets truck-mounted cranes, mobile hydraulic cranes, and self-propelled aerial work platforms. The leading manufacturer of cranes in North America, Grove Worldwide is headquartered in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania and maintains major manufacturing and engineering facilities in Nebraska and in Germany and France. The company also has operations in service facilities in England, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Singapore, and China. Grove Worldwide's production is separated into three operations: Grove Crane, which manufactures over 35 models of mobile hydraulic cranes and specialty and commercial cranes for governmental agencies, including the US Department of Defense; Grove Manlift, which builds over 30 different models of self-propelled aerial work platforms; and National Crane, which manufactures 26 models of telescoping and articulating truck-mounted cranes. Grove Worldwide faces key competitors JLG Industries, the Chatwins Group, and Terex.
