NCDOT TO BEGIN RESURFACING A SECTION OF GLENWOOD AVENUE IN WAKE COUNTY.

RALEIGH, NC -- The following information was released by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT):

The N.C. Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing a section of Glenwood Avenue (U.S. 70) from Women's Club Drive to Wade Avenue in Raleigh, beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, weather permitting.

Work includes removing the old asphalt, concrete repair, and replacing it with new asphalt along this section. The project contract specifies that work can take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Work can also take place from 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday.
