FORD MOTOR CO. IS INVESTING $335 MILLION IN ITS Lima, Ohio, engine plant to build an all-new, fuel-efficient, 3.5-1 V-6 engine. The all-aluminum, dual-overhead-cam, 24-valve Duratec 35 engine will power future Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles, including passenger cars and crossover vehicles.

At Lima, Ford will install a new engine assembly line, and a cylinder-block machining line, a cylinder-head machining line as well as a crankshaft line. …
