Regrinder gets to the point.(Letters)

THE ARTICLE DRILLING DO'S AND don'ts" (July, p. 54) says that crown-type drills deliver more consistent tool life than solid-carbide or brazed drills, and that reground drills often don't match the performance of a new drill. The reason, says the article, is because it's hard to match the cutting-edge shape and edge preparation in regrinding. But that simply is not true with today's technology.
