MY IDEA CONVERTS ANY MODULE metric involute hob to a different type if the pitch diameters are the same between the two hobs. For instance, module gear hobs with 14.5[degrees] and 20[degrees] angular pressure convert into module spline shaft hobs using those with 30[degrees], 37.5[degrees], and 45[degrees] angle pressures. And the conversion works vice versa and within the groups themselves. Converting within the first group for gear hobs starts from a 0.5 to 6-mm module, and for the second group, starting modules are from 0.25 to 6 mm and 0.25 to 2.5 mm.
