Sox get their Phil; Saberhagen stops skid once more.

PHILADELPHIA -- For making his 15th start of the season, Bret Saberhagen earned a $100,000 contract bonus last night.

Some of it will go to his ex-wife. Some of it will go to the government. Some it will go to his agents.

Saberhagen will walk away with an estimated $13,000 and the knowledge that he ended another Red Sox losing streak.

The latter has no price.

After taking a 7-1 lead into the ninth inning, the Sox endured another meltdown by closer Tom Gordon and held on for a 7-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies at steamy Veterans Stadium. Three days after revealing that a legal dispute with his ex-wife, Janeane, has been weighing on his mind, Saberhagen allowed a run in six innings as the Sox ended a three-game losing streak. …
