Tote bag manufacturers strive for perfection.(Balloon Fiesta)

The YWCA, the Albuquerque Convention & Visitor's Bureau, the University of Notre Dame, the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Los Alamos National Laboratories all use them. A University of New Mexico geologist says they are great for toting rocks.

They are the wide assortment of tote and gift bags produced by about a dozen job trainees at the New Mexico Commission for the Blind in Albuquerque. The commission will sell the bags and other gift items at its outlet store every day during the balloon fiesta. Many of the items feature images of hot air balloons and classic Southwestern designs like chiles, dancing kokopellis and Native American rock art. …
