Absentee Ballots Fail To Reach Voters.(New Mexico)

SANTA FE The Dona Ana County Clerk's office is reviewing records of 1,300 absentee voter ballots to determine whether the ballots were mailed to the wrong addresses.

Jess Williams, the county's public information officer, said Thursday that some of the ballots might have been mailed to voters' old addresses.

Williams said he did not know how many of the ballots were sent to the wrong place.

The application for an absentee ballot allows voters to ask that their ballots be sent to addresses other than the ones on their voter registration forms, said Denise Lamb, head of the Secretary of State's Bureau of Elections. …
