* Frank Keating lauds GOP contender's commitment to law enforcement

Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating on Wednesday stumped in Albuquerque for fellow Republican George W. Bush, saying electing Bush president is critical to law enforcement.

"This election is a big-time election for those of us who care about criminal justice and law enforcement," Keating told about 100 current and former police officers, emergency medical technicians and others at a luncheon at McGilvray's Restaurant downtown.

The gathering was organized by New Mexico Public Safety Officers for Bush, chaired by Sen. R.L. Stockard, R-Bloomfield, a retired State Police captain. …
