Despite what you might have heard, there is no convoy of moving vans loaded with physicians' office furniture queuing at the Texas border.

Without question, there are an awful lot of unhappy physicians, and why not? Medicine is a tough business to be in today. Anyone can be cheerful when business is good.

Without question, some physicians have closed practices; some have moved out of New Mexico.

There is also very little evidence so far that New Mexico is any worse off than it ever was. Or any better.
