22 Cibola Primary Ballots Seized.

Cibola County Deputy District Attorney F.B. "Ted" Howden said Tuesday the State Police on Friday had seized ballots from the June primary at the Cibola County Courthouse.

Howden said he had no further information on the case.

State Police Lt. Tom Dobson confirmed Tuesday that police had seized 22 absentee voter ballots in Grants that were left over from the primary.

"When we found them it appeared as though the envelopes they were in were still sealed," Dobson said.

The State Police's report on the incident will be turned over to the state Bureau of Elections for investigation, Dobson said. …
