Parties Pull Out All The Stops in Campaign.

It's all boiling down to coffee.

State Democratic leaders have ordered about 8,000 gallons to fuel volunteers and staff statewide until Tuesday. Republicans have no exact amounts, but State Chairman John Dendahl said they've got "pounds and pounds."

Both Dendahl and his Democratic counterpart, State Chairwoman Diane Denish, said campaigning has hit a fever pitch in New Mexico and will continue unabated through Tuesday.

Coffee is just a symptom.

"A lot of people won't get any sleep," Denish said.

Both parties hosted campaign events across northern New Mexico and other parts of the state Sunday. …
