Minn. Man Sold Eagle Feathers

A Minnesota dealer of Native American art has pleaded guilty to selling eagle feathers in violation of federal law in a case that included searches and seizures in Santa Fe.

Art dealer Timothy Patrick Kornwolf of Stillwater, Minn., has pleaded guilty to violating federal eagle and migratory-bird protection laws, according to an announcement Tuesday by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota.

Kornwolf, who is not a Native American, was charged in U.S. District Court in Minnesota earlier this year with knowingly selling items that contained golden eagle feathers, according to a federal indictment. …
