The District Attorney's Office for Curry and Roosevelt counties has settled a lawsuit with a woman who claimed District Attorney Randall Harris engaged in a pattern of "personal relationships" with women throughout New Mexico on taxpayer time and money.

The woman, an employee of the District Attorney's Office in Bernalillo County, claimed in a lawsuit that she had a relationship with Harris from 1998 until August, when she broke it off. She said Harris threatened to hurt her "if she disclosed the true nature of their relationship. …
