* Family claims Moriarty man almost died; previous revocation of license cited

A Moriarty man and his family are suing a local drug store, a pharmacist at the store and the store's parent company after the man was allegedly given the wrong prescription, which the family claims nearly killed him.

William Bass and his family filed the suit in state District Court in Albuquerque on Monday. The suit claims Moriarty's Horizon Pharmacy and its parent company allowed pharmacist John Cole, who allegedly filled Bass's prescription with the wrong medication, to work at the store despite having lost his license in another state. …
