Lawyers Appeal to Judge For Scientific Evidence.(Metropolitan)

Attorneys for murder suspects Daizien Hossencofft, 35, and Linda Henning, 47, say they are being forced to choose between mounting an adequate defense or having a speedy trial, as prosecutors have balked at turning over evidence.

State District Court Judge Richard Knowles on Tuesday heard a defense motion in the case asking the court to order the state to turn over evidence related to scientific testing.

Hossencofft and Henning are awaiting trail on charges of murder, kidnapping and other crimes in connection with the disappearance and presumed death of 36-year-old Girly Chew Hossencofft, the estranged wife of defendant Daizien Hossencofft. …
