Route 66 group elects new officers.

AROUND NEW MEXICO

The New Mexico Route 66 Association has elected new officers to its board of directors.

Rich Williams, president of the nonprofit consulting firm Tierra Madre, was named president. Tom Willis, owner of the Route 66 diner on Central Avenue, is vice president.

Other officers are Albuquerque artist Darryl Willison, secretary; Nick Manole, owner of Fresh Choices restaurant, treasurer; and Susan Simons, former director of Moriarty's Main Street Program, assistant treasurer. …
