Eldorado Finds Way To Turn Back Cibola.(Sports)

The Eldorado volleyball team dug its way out of a massive hole Tuesday, overcoming its own sloppy play and determined Cibola for a 3-2 victory.

The Eagles (9-2) dropped the first two games and trailed 13-12 in the third before coming to life and taking a 4-15, 12-15, 15-13, 15-11, 15-6 decision.

The Cougars (7-4) dominated the first game behind the hitting of Jade Wacker and Niecy Taylor, who combined for eight kills. Eldorado built a 12-10 lead in game two, but Leanne Parshall's scoring block ignited a 5-0 run that gave Cibola a two-game lead.

The third game was close throughout, but the Cougars grabbed a late 12-10 lead and appeared set to close things out. …
