Traffic investigators with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department continue to look into an accident on Saturday involving a patrol car.

According to Ronni Sparks, public information officer with the sheriff's department, deputy Tom Lett was driving on Paradise Boulevard around 5 p.m. Saturday when his car collided with a truck driven by 16-year-old Erika Cordero of Albuquerque. Cordero was making a left-hand turn onto Paradise from Davenport Street, Sparks said.

Lett struck a concrete wall after the collision, Sparks said. …
