Madrid Plans Public Meetings in Northern N.M.

State Attorney General Patricia Madrid has scheduled a trip through northern New Mexico next week to underscore public access to government, her office announced.

Tuesday, Madrid plans a stop in Espanola to field questions and discuss the Open Meetings and Inspection of Public Records acts with law enforcement officials, school administrators and the public.

She plans to start the day at 9:15 a.m. on KDCE Radio's "Coffee Break" program, then at 10 a.m. start her Outreach Program at Mission Convento. Civil Division Director Albert Lama and Assistant Attorney General Elizabeth Glenn are expected to be on hand, as well, according to a news release from Madrid's office. …
