Eagles Get Quick Start in District Play.(Sports)

VOLLEYBALL
CLOVIS Eldorado made short work of Clovis on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles posted a 15-6, 15-7, 15-12 high school volleyball victory to open District 4AAAAA play.
Eldorado now stands 8-2 overall, while the Wildcats fell to 6-6 (1-1).
For a while, it looked like Clovis at least would force a fourth game as it raced out 9-3 in the third. But EHS fought back for a 9-9 tie. The 'Cats still had a 12-10 lead, but the Eagles tied it and then went up a point when Clovis served out of turn.
The clincher came when the Wildcats couldn't come up with a dig on match point.
Eldorado started as if it were going to dominate, racing to a 5-0 lead. …
