$10 Million Bid For Old Hospital.

New Mexico's state government has been offered $10 million for the old St. Vincent Hospital property in downtown Santa Fe from a company that says it would expand the building and convert it into a hotel-retail complex.

As an "ancillary project," California-based Auerbach Palace LLC wants to lease adjacent land from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe for construction of an 85,000 square-foot convention center, according to Allen Branch of Santa Fe's Branch Realty. The Branch firm is involved in the project with Auerbach.
