Old football rivalry took a new twist Friday with St. Michael's ending its long losing streak to Santa Fe High

The Streak is over. The St. Michael's Horsemen finally ended an 18-year, seven-game prep football losing streak against their arch-rival, Santa Fe High School, in convincing fashion Friday with a 14-0 victory at Ivan Head Stadium.

Much to the delight of the estimated 2,000 St. Michael's fans in attendance, the win marked the school's first against the Demons since a 3-0 shutout in 1982.
