Gary Wendt describes himself as a businessman. As part of a group attempting to put the Western Baseball League into the Sports Stadium next summer, Wendt told the Albuquerque City Council on Monday night, "Think of the WBL as an interim solution."

Tuesday morning, in a radio interview, Wendt said the WBL was prepared and expected to lose money the first year and then make a little money the next.

The dictionary mine at least describes interim as "temporary."

Personally (no dictionary needed), my definition of temporary is "a period of no longer than two years."

Now, what kind of businessman does that make Wendt? …
