Country artist doesn't worry about trends

A lot of country artists have come and gone since Toby Keith first lassoed the airwaves in 1993 with "Should've Been a Cowboy."

How has Keith survived? By literally staying on top.

"I've managed to have No. 1 hits off of every album even though a different (record company) regime worked almost every album," says Keith, who performs at Tingley Coliseum tonight.

Keith's most recent chart-topper (five weeks at No. 1 last spring) is the title track to his latest CD, "How Do You Like Me Now?!" (Dreamworks Records). Keith co-wrote the rousing tune, which he says started as a partial song. …
