Chef du Jour retains menu during change of ownership.(Dining)

A little Albuquerque restaurant with a big heart, Chef du Jour, is under new ownership but, other than that, nothing has changed.

"We haven't changed anything, except we added a fresh coat of paint," said one of the co-owners, Ralph Garcia.

Garcia and partner Buddy Murzyn purchased the tiny restaurant at 119 San Pasquale SW, near Old Town, from founding owner Connie Allgood. The sale became final at the beginning of August. Allgood left Albuquerque in 1999 for a job at Millennium, a new restaurant in Las Cruces.

Garcia said the menu at Chef du Jour continues to change weekly with a slew of international and "eclectic" choices for lunch and dinner. …
