In many upscale restaurants, diners are often hesitant to cough or even clear their throats, the atmosphere can be so stuffy and uptight. But that's not the case at Anthony's at the Delta, where elegant surroundings and first-rate food doesn't necessarily mean you have to produce a finishing school diploma before entering.

We popped in without reservations on a Saturday evening, slightly apprehensive because we were dressed in shorts. It wasn't a problem. We waited only five minutes in the comfortable lounge before we were seated. Other diners displayed a variety of attire and one co-owner was wearing jeans. …
