It's like a fairy tale come true. A poor, blind street musician busks the blacktop for a few bills and before you know it he's already on the far side of middle age. Then out of nowhere he gets discovered by ambitious young careerists who back him in the studio, secure a major-label record deal, set out on a bona fide tour, and hit pop music pay dirt. Poor man gets rich and famous. And they all live happily ever after.

There may have been a few more bumps along the road, and riches and fame are relative concepts, but this has basically been Robert Bradley's story. …
