Lab Scientist Will Advise Gov. Johnson.

Los Alamos National Laboratory scientist Larry Winter has been named Governor Johnson's new science adviser.

Winter, who has been working with Los Alamos' mathematical modeling and analysis group, succeeds Paul Cunningham as the governor's science adviser, Los Alamos National Laboratory announced Thursday.

Winter says he hopes to focus on natural resources, including water issues, as well as on the space sciences and computer technology. …
