Longtime sweethearts tie knot at fairyland wedding.(Personalities)

From a fairyland wedding to a party with the primates, Albuquerque was a busy little burg last weekend.

The fairyland wedding was the Saturday union of Albuquerqueans Ralph-David Raby and Dora Delgado. The two have known each other for 22 years, and been sweethearts for 19 years. They finally tied the knot during an afternoon ceremony at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Ten children ages 1 to 4 years all nieces and nephews of the couple and dressed like royalty were in the wedding party.

A twinkling reception and seated dinner for about 280 guests followed at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, with the entire ballroom decorated in white, including white slipcovers on every chair. The family thought of every comfort for the guests, including bundles of fresh crayons tied with white ribbon and coloring pads for the kids.

Among the well-wishers were architect Lee Gamelsky and his wife, Susan Frye; and Bob Eaton, a vice president of lending with New Mexico Bank and Trust, and his wife, Katie Eaton. …
