Dana Levin, one of Santa Fe's resident poets, has had an extraordinary two years. She's been awarded the American Poetry Review's Honick First Book Prize for "In The Surgical Theatre," published in 1999. She also won the Witter Bynner Prize from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, the Great Lakes College Association New Writer Award and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
