It's down to the wire, but you can still get festive for holidays

It's "C" Minus Two Days, and counting. If you're the organized type, you can be smug now. Go ahead, put on some holiday music, pour another cup of coffee and sit by the fire as you contemplate the remaining little details of Christmas preparation.

But if you're a procrastinator or a Scrooge just visited by the last ghost you have work to do.

Put on some rockin' Christmas music, pour a cup of espresso and make a list. Reality has its time limits and they are upon you. Here is the key question: What do you absolutely have to do, and what can you skip?

Haven't decorated? Haven't shopped? Haven't baked? Haven't sent cards? Haven't dropped off your canned goods, your toys for the less fortunate?

At this point, looking would take a miracle. But a few well-placed calls, some judiciously spent energy and a stroke of genius or two can at least pull you through the holiday with your dignity intact.
