The music bug bit Larry Freedman at an early age, and he's since discovered that some occupational hazards go along with the enjoyment of creating music.

Freedman is a piano musician and has played the piano almost his entire life. His mother also played, and he "crawled around her piano and messed with it" even as a baby. By age 7 he began taking lessons.

He says that listening to her play, he knew then that playing the piano would be his calling. "Besides my mother, the biggest early influence on me was Vince Guaraldi's music that accompanied the 'Peanuts' cartoons. I could listen to it for hours, become totally mesmerized and work hard at playing the same way," he says. …
