* Trial opens in case involving suspect and DEA agent whose work sent him to prison

It was former Bernalillo County sheriff's deputy Michael Lee Disney's "dream of revenge" that led him to threaten the DEA agent who sent him to prison, a prosecutor told jurors Tuesday.

Disney, 33, told two fellow inmates that he intended to harm Mike Marshall, the Drug Enforcement Administration agent whose investigation sent him to federal prison, Assistant District Attorney Jack Burkhead said as Disney's trial opened Tuesday.

And Disney, who faces a single count of threatening or intimidating a witness, told a current sheriff's deputy he met at an Albuquerque bar in February 1999 he wanted Marshall's home address and wife's birth date, Burkhead said in opening statements. …
