Thinking about gift books for kids? You have come to the right place.

There are, I believe, four paths to follow in deciding what to get young readers.

Path No. 1: Books children will want to read silently.

Path No. 2: Books children will want to read aloud to other kids or to adults.

Path No. 3: Books adults will want to read aloud to children.

Path No. 4: Books adults will want to read silently after a child has recommended them.
