THEY LOVE TO MAKE COOKIES.

Students at the New Mexico School for the Deaf were hard at work this week. The students, about a dozen, baked more than 300 cookies in the form of the sign language symbol for "I love you."

The cookies will find their way to Kitchen Angels for distribution to their clients, about 70, along with their Christmas meals.

Kitchen Angels provides meals year-round for homebound Santa Fe residents. This is the seventh year that School for the Deaf students have added their dessert treat to the occasion. …
