Richardson Remains Coy About His Plans.

WASHINGTON If Energy Secretary Bill Richardson wants to run for governor of New Mexico or the U.S. Senate, he still isn't saying so publicly.

Richardson's term as Energy secretary ends next month, and despite widespread speculation about his future, the former New Mexico congressman remains consistently coy about his plans.

Richardson, who was in Russia on Friday for the closing of the Chernobyl nuclear plant, ducked questions about his next career move during an interview with CNN.

"I'm not sure what I'm going to do," Richardson said. He said he is focused on finishing his work at the Energy Department. …
