Two new restaurants specialize in breakfast, lunch.(Dining)

'Tis the season for opening presents and restaurants too, apparently. Albuquerque has two new restaurants opening that specialize in breakfast and lunch.

The first is Raina's Cafe, which began serving the last week in November in the cheery yellow-and-green space that once housed the vegetarian restaurant, Sharon's Garden Grille.

Raina's Cafe isn't vegetarian, says owner Raina McLean, who until recently ran the popular Manhattan Deli on Rio Grande. A zoning discrepancy closed that North Valley restaurant after five years in business.

At Raina's Cafe, McLean said, everything is made from scratch daily, including soups, jumbo sandwiches, salads and New Mexican specialties. …
