Albuquerque's Natasha Ellison pursues a 2002 Olympics berth on U.S. skeleton crew

The name of the game is skeleton, and the game's as scary as the name suggests. But for Albuquerque's Natasha Ellison, sledding head-first down an ice-slick chute at 65 to 75 miles per hour is just the thrill she was seeking.

"I'll stick with it as long as I'm able to fund it," says Ellison, 30, a St. Pius High School graduate who qualified for the United States skeleton team just eight months after learning the sport existed.

So, what exactly is skeleton?
