A state District Court jury deliberated nearly two full days before convicting Kyle Glenn Raybon, 29, of second-degree murder in the March 1999 shooting death of Michelle Montoya.
Raybon had been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy, child abuse and tampering with evidence in a trial that began before state District Judge Angela Jewell on Jan. 29.
Jurors acquitted Raybon of the conspiracy and child-abuse counts, convicted him of evidence-tampering and found him guilty of the lesser murder count. …
