A German federal laboratory report that disputes F. Gregg Bemis Jr.'s claim of an explosion aboard a doomed Baltic Sea ferry seven years ago further aggravates the ongoing controversy over the worst European maritime disaster since WWII.

The Santa Fe capitalist, who also heads a commercial diving school in Texas, still has a hole card another report, this one by a U.S. firm that bolsters his claim.
