Maurice Zeck heads restaurant group.


Maurice Zeck has been named executive vice president of the New Mexico Restaurant Association.

Zeck has been in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years. He was director of national accounts for Dynamic Foods and food service director at Santa Fe's La Fonda and owner of MJZ Companies, a food brokerage and consulting company.

He came to New Mexico from Colorado, where he was executive chef at the Sheraton Colorado Springs Hotel. Before that, he was chef at the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, N.H.

Zeck is a member of the American Culinary Federation and the Research Chefs Association. …
