Albuquerque Mayor Jim Baca recognized members of his ACT Now Club at a breakfast meeting of the Big I Task Force last week.

Fifty-four Albuquerque companies and organizations have signed the ACT Now agreement to promote alternative modes of transportation, such as riding the bus, carpooling, vanpooling, bicycling and walking, during the two-year interchange rebuild. Each was given a certificate of appreciation for corporate citizenship.

ACT Now partners include: Albuquerque Ballroom Dance Center; Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau; Albuquerque Public Schools; Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute; Allegiance Healthcare; Bank of America; Bernalillo County Environmental Health Department; Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico; Boeing SVS Inc. …
