NEW ORLEANS The New Mexico State men's basketball team finally has figured out how to hold onto a lead.

The Aggies won their fourth Sun Belt Conference game in a row, beating New Orleans 62-55 on Saturday night.

NMSU, which saw so many second-half leads turn into losses early in the season, was ahead 59-49 with less than two minutes to play and saw its lead dwindle to 59-55. But two foul shots by freshman Emanuel Dildy with 30.4 seconds to go and another free throw by sophomore Brandon Mason with 19 seconds left avoided another disaster.
