LAS CRUCES The New Mexico State men's basketball team appears to be breaking out.

After riding on a see-saw for most of the season, the Aggies have put together a three-game winning streak.

Louisiana-Lafayette (10-7, 6-3 Sun Belt) fell to NMSU 87-80 on Thursday night at the Pan American Center.

Four Aggies scored in double figures. Eric Channing led with 25 points, while Daveeno Hines had 17 and Emanuel Dildy and James Moore each contributed 14.

"We felt we beat a real good ballclub," said NMSU coach Lou Henson. "Coach (Jessie) Evans does a real good job with them. Overall, I thought we did pretty well. …
