Guest musicians set tempo for percussionist concert.(Music)

Boom. Boing. B-ding. The sounds of percussion will reverberate in UNM's Keller Hall Saturday, with clinics and a concert involving studio musician Gregg Bissonette and other players.

"I think Gregg's going to be a big draw," said Scott Ney, assistant professor of percussion at UNM. "He's more well known to the pop audiences, and he's in a lot of drum magazines."

On Bissonette's resume are gigs with Santana, David Lee Roth, Don Henley and Ray Charles, among others.

Last year's Percussion Extravaganza activities were limited to clinics. This year's also features a concert.
