Austin, Tupelo Pay Visits This Weekend

One of the more interesting weekends of the season faces the New Mexico Scorpions as a pair of Eastern Division powers visit Tingley Coliseum, beginning with tonight's match against Austin.

Then, former Scorpion George Dupont makes his first return to Tingley as a head coach when he brings his potent Tupelo (Miss.) squad to town Saturday night.

The Ice Bats and T-Rex are among the top three teams battling for supremacy in the East, with Tupelo currently on top of the heap by a point and tied with the Scorpions for the overall points lead in the Western Professional Hockey League. …
