* Rick Trevino wants to incorporate Latin influences

Rick Trevino has spent a good portion of his musical career making some of the best music in mainstream country music.

His 1995 debut, "Looking For The Light," quickly established the Austin, Texas, native as an up-and-coming artist in Nashville.

Trevino has been one of Tejano music's most successful crossovers to Nashville, as is evidenced by his 1999 CD, "Super Hits."

Trevino is slated to release a disc in Spanish, "Mano A Mano," on Sony Discos this year, but the raven-haired singer/songwriter looks as though he's trying to move beyond his recent past as a Nashville "hat act. …
