Pedestrian's I-40 Death Called Possible Suicide.(Obituary)

A 20-year-old Albuquerque man who may have been trying to commit suicide was killed by a semi-truck on Interstate 40 east of the Zuzax exit early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at 2:30 a.m. at mile marker 180, about five miles east of Tijeras, Bernalillo County Sheriff's Sgt. Roger Witt said.

The victim was identified as Jack Nash, Witt said. Nash's family was notified of his death Tuesday.

Witt said Nash had parked his car in the median of the interstate and was walking across the eastbound lanes when he was hit by a semi-truck in the right-hand lane.

No drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident and the truck driver was not cited, Witt said. …
