The Capital Jaguars appeared to be getting what they wanted when Los Alamos junior Antonio Vigil was sent to the free-throw line four times in the closing minute.

Vigil, who hit only one out of his three earlier attempts, by his own admission had been struggling at the charity stripe.

But Vigil sunk his final four to help Los Alamos (14-5, 3-1) pull out a crucial District 2AAAA road win.

"I felt like I could do it, so I wanted the ball in the end. I knew they were trying to get me a little scared. But I just blocked everyone out," Vigil said. "It was actually pretty quiet in my head. …
